Camp Assistant Application

We are excited to open Camp Counselor Assistant applications for our Summer Programs to dancers ages 10 and up. We are seeking 4-6 assistants per session.

This is an unpaid leadership position that qualifies for community service hours and is a wonderful opportunity for dancers who are responsible, enthusiastic, and eager to mentor younger campers. Assistants will help with crafts, activities, organization, and creating a positive, high-energy camp experience.

This role is designed to be the first step in our leadership pathway at Carolina Collective. As dancers grow older and meet the age requirements, Camp Counselor Assistants may become eligible to lead their own camp sessions. Watching dancers move from camper to assistant to leader is one of the most special full-circle moments in our community.

Beyond the studio, this experience builds confidence, initiative, teamwork, and responsibility — all of which are incredibly valuable for high school resumes, scholarship opportunities, and future college applications.
