Studio Policies Overview
The following policies are in place to ensure clear communication, consistent training, and a positive experience for every Carolina Collective Dance family.
Registration & Discounts
Annual Registration Fee: $30 per family (non-refundable).
Sibling Discount: 10% off tuition for each additional sibling enrolled.
Payment Policy
Carolina Collective Dance is a monthly-tuition program, and enrollment reserves your dancer’s spot in class regardless of attendance.
Billing Date: Tuition is processed on the 25th of each month for the following month.
Tuition Structure: Tuition is billed month-to-month and is based on four classes per month.
Five-Class Months: When a month includes five class dates, no additional tuition is charged.
Closures & Calendar: Our tuition structure accounts for scheduled studio closures throughout the season.
Accepted Payment Methods: We accept Visa, Mastercard, and Discover.
Required Payment Method on File: A valid credit/debit card or bank account must be kept on file to process tuition and fees.
Authorization to Charge: By enrolling and maintaining a payment method on file, the cardholder/account holder authorizes Carolina Collective Dance to charge the credit card or bank account provided for tuition, fees, and any applicable charges in accordance with studio policies.
Declined Payments: A $5 declined payment fee will be applied for any failed or declined transaction.
Late Fees: A $5 late fee per week will be added to past-due balances beginning after the billing date.
Past-Due Accounts: Accounts more than 30 days past due will be placed on hold, and dancers may not attend class until the balance is paid in full and the account is current.
Refunds: Tuition and fees are generally non-refundable; however, refunds may be considered on a case-by-case basis at the sole discretion of Carolina Collective Dance and must be requested in writing.
Makeup Classes
Makeup classes must be completed within 30 days of the missed class.
Please schedule makeup classes through the Parent Portal.

Cancellation Policy
At Carolina Collective Dance, your happiness is our priority. We proudly offer a 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee for new families. If you are not satisfied within your first 30 days, we will provide a full refund of tuition paid during that time.
After the initial 30 days, we require a 30-day written notice to withdraw from classes.
Billing Date Reminder: Tuition is processed on the 25th of each month for the upcoming month.
To avoid being charged for the next month, the withdrawal form must be submitted at least 30 days prior to the 25th.

Please note:
Verbal notice or email does not constitute official withdrawal.
If the 30-day notice requirement is not met prior to the 25th billing date, tuition for the following month will still be due.

Photography & Media Release
Students enrolled at Carolina Collective Dance, LLC grant permission for the studio to use their image and/or likeness in photo and video for promotional and advertising purposes.
Class Policies
Please arrive 5 minutes early, dressed and ready to begin.
Dancers should stretch prior to class to help prevent injury and maximize class time.
Studio updates are shared via email, Instagram, and text; please monitor communication regularly.
In the event of an emergency closure, you will receive an email with details.
Help us keep our space clean—no gum, and no food or drink in dance rooms (water is the only exception).
Dancers are responsible for cleaning up after themselves and disposing of trash properly.
Lost and found items are held for 30 days; unclaimed items will be donated.
Please avoid interrupting teachers during class. If you need to discuss something, schedule an appointment or contact the front desk.
No cell phones are permitted inside dance rooms unless a teacher has approved filming; personal belongings should remain in the hallway.
Class Placement
Class placement is subject to change. Dancers are assessed annually, and placement is determined at the discretion of Carolina Collective Dance staff to support each dancer’s development and success.
Curriculum
Our curriculum is intentionally designed to develop strong technical foundation using current, industry-relevant training methods. Our goal is to provide a well-rounded environment where dancers feel confident, supported, and motivated as they grow.
Season Dates
Carolina Collective Dance’s season runs from August 1 through July 31
Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability & Indemnification Agreement
By enrolling in and/or participating in any activities at Carolina Collective Dance, LLC (“Studio”), you acknowledge and agree that participation in dance, classes, rehearsals, performances, events, and use of the Studio’s facilities, equipment, and services involves inherent risks of injury to persons and property. The student and parent/guardian voluntarily assume full responsibility for all such risks.
In consideration for being permitted to enter the Studio premises and/or participate in any Studio-related activities (whether on or off site), including but not limited to classes, rehearsals, performances, events, instruction, observation, or use of facilities and equipment, the student and parent/guardian agree as follows:
Release of Liability
The student and parent/guardian hereby release, waive, and discharge Carolina Collective Dance, LLC, its owners, directors, employees, independent contractors, agents, and representatives (“Released Parties”) from any and all liability, claims, demands, actions, or causes of action for loss, damage, or injury to person or property, including death, arising out of or related to participation in Studio activities or presence on Studio premises, whether caused by the negligence (active or passive) of the Released Parties or otherwise, to the fullest extent permitted by South Carolina law.
Indemnification
The student and parent/guardian agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Released Parties from any loss, liability, damage, or cost incurred as a result of the student’s participation in Studio activities or presence on Studio premises, whether caused by negligence or otherwise.
Health Representation
The parent/guardian represents and warrants that:
The student is in good physical condition and does not have any illness, injury, or medical condition that would prevent safe participation in dance or related activities; and
A physician has been consulted, if necessary, regarding the student’s ability to safely participate in a dance and/or exercise program.
Risks associated with participation include, but are not limited to:
Injuries resulting from dance and exercise activities
Sprains, fractures, torn ligaments or muscles
Heat-related illness
Cardiovascular events such as heart attack or stroke
Accidents occurring on Studio premises or at Studio-related events
Severability
This Agreement is intended to be as broad and inclusive as permitted under the laws of the State of South Carolina. If any portion is determined to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.
By signing, the student and/or parent/guardian acknowledge that they have read this Assumption of Risk, Release of Liability, and Indemnification Agreement in its entirety, fully understand its terms, and agree to be legally bound by it. They acknowledge that no oral representations or statements have been made beyond this written agreement and that they clearly understand the obligations contained herein.
